More Japanese investors heading to Laos
More and more Japanese companies are coming to invest in Laos given that the country is integrating with the region and the world and is improving its investment climate. As of May 2016, the number of Japanese companies in Laos had climbed to 132 which is double the figure recorded in 2012, according to the Japanese Embassy in Vientiane. Japanese experts say it would be highly appreciated if the Lao government were aware of the issues facing the business sector and formulated concrete measures to address them.
